HEALTH EDCO wins three awards in 2007 National Health Information Awards Program

Sept. 12, 2007 — HEALTH EDCO was selected as a winner in the 14th annual National Health Information Awards. This program recognizes the best consumer health information programs and materials.

HEALTH EDCO's Substance Abuse and Consequences Game, Heart Disease Risk Factors Display, and Benefits of Not Smoking 3-D Display all received health information awards this year.

"We were delighted to participate in the National Health Information Awards Program and were honored to be selected as a winner," said HEALTH EDCO Marketing Coordinator Janna Ripley. "Our winning entries were chosen from more than 1,000 entries judged by a national panel of health information experts."

The awards programme is coordinated by the Health Information Resource Center, a national clearinghouse for consumer health information programs and materials. The Center, which houses a large collection of such public and private sector materials, promotes the distribution of accurate, timely consumer health information materials to professionals and managers in the field.
