Our popular childbirth education model set features all the essential models to demonstrate the birth process. Made of durable beige cloth to represent a foetus with beige skin tone, the included cloth Foetal Model can demonstrate any presentation or position. The Foetal Model’s plastic head has palpable anterior and posterior fontanelles. The set also features a Standard Pelvis Model that can accommodate the head of the Foetal Model; a Perineal Cloth Model that attaches to the pelvis to show stretching of the perineum and possible episiotomy; and a Placenta/Cord/Amnion/Chorion Model. Created with the childbirth educator in mind, this comprehensive childbirth education model set includes:


  • A 45-cm long Foetal Model with a durable beige cloth body that can demonstrate any presentation or position and a plastic head that features palpable anterior and posterior fontanelles

  • A Standard Pelvis Model (27 cm x 18 cm x 19 cm) that can accommodate the head of the Foetal Model

  • A Perineal Cloth Model (13 cm x 17 cm), which attaches to the pelvis with elastic straps and is perfect to show stretching of the perineum, possible episiotomy, and the emergence of the foetal head

  • A Placenta/Cord/Amnion/Chorion Model (18 cm x 20 cm), that allows the Foetal Model to be shown inside a simulated amniotic sac and features a snap-on umbilical cord that can attach to the Foetal Model’s simulated belly button, a convenient drawstring to close the sac, and accurate two-colour rendering of the amniotic and chorionic membranes
